Hey, "That Thing You Do" is a favorite of mine too although more in its use of negative imagery than anything else. I find Tom Hanks to be an incredibly indulgent film maker, although granted, Apollo 13 was a great film too. It's like what Marshall McLuhan said, that film is essentially a hot medium. Hope to see you all at my concert at Orchestra Hall Friday night.
